ממשטרת המטרופולין של לונדון נמסר: "אנו מבינים לחלוטין את התסכול והכעס של תושבי לונדון כאשר מפגינים הולכים לאט בכבישים. אנו קוראים לציבור לא להתערב ולהמתין להגעת המשטרה". "ג'אסט סטופ אויל" היא תנועה אקולוגית אקטיביסטית בריטית שהפכה לשנויה במחלוקת בשל שיטות המחאה האגרסיביות שלה.

"We completely understand the frustration and anger of London’s communities when protesters walk slowly in the roads. We urge people not to intervene and to wait for the arrival of police, who will attend the scene promptly."
